On October 4, Jacquelin Pitcock ran 18:45 at the Jesse Owens Classic in Oakville, AL. In doing so, Jackie broke three different records. First, she ran a new personal best time beating her previous best of 19:36 by an amazing 51 seconds. Secondly, she set a new 5k school record. In fact, her converted time of 18:06 for three miles would have also broken the old cross country record of 18:20 held by Lauren Tyree. Finally, she broke the meet record for the silver division girls of 19:07. This season has been a breakout for the extremely talented junior and if she continues to progress at the rate she is going, the sky is the limit. Congratulations Jackie! We are so proud of you!
