Region 10-28-10

TSSAA Region 3 AAA was held at the Chickamauga Dam in Chattanooga on yesterday and the Bear harriers finished as Region Runner – Ups for the first time since 2005. Leading the way for the Bears was Region Champion for the second year in a row Paul Patterson (17:04), Region Runner – Up Harold Smith (17:16), 14th Jake Curtis (18:27), 19th Collin Gwaltney (18:40), 25th Corey Dixon (19:16), 34th Kyle Baltimore (19:46) and 52nd Caleb Pace (20:43).

Bears coach Larry Cotton stated what an awesome performance, SIMPLY AWESOME!!!  With a relatively young team of two seniors a sophomore and four freshmen the future looks bright.

Next race is the TSSAA State  Meet at Percy Warner State Park in Nashville Saturday November 6th.
