Tennesse Classic
The Bradley Central Cross Country Team competed in the Tennessee Classic at Percy Warner Park in Nashville on September 18th. The team finished 17th out of 44 teams. “This meet always has some very tough competition, not only from Tennessee but also from Kentucky. The meet management lacks something to be desired, but it is a chance to run against quality competition on the state meet course,” stated Coach Cotton. Earning the top spot for the Bears once again was sophomore Paul Patterson. Patterson ran the course in a time of 16:53 which was good enough for a 13th place finish out of 317 runners. Following Patterson was freshman Harold Smith finishing 69th in a time of 18:10. Third for the team was senior Jake Curtis finishing 86th in a time of 18:20. Rounding out the Bear runners were senior Kyle Baltimore (151st; 19:23), freshman Collin Gwaltney (156th; 19:31), freshman Corey Dixon (228th; 20:43), and freshman Caleb Pace (284th; 22:29).
